Spring-loaded specimen holder for four metallographic mounts 1″ to 1.5″ in diameter, and up to 0.5″ (12.7mm) thick.
The sample is pressed to the cap by the spring, ensuring the polished face of the specimen is flat across the mount.

The removeable insert is used for 1″ samples and is removed for larger samples. Four locations for 12.7 mm stubs are included for mounting of analysis standards with the samples.

Ideal for wide area imaging, and stitching images with minimal focus change between stage moves.
