SliceMaster by Jasco Sample Preparation Tools

SliceMaster Micro Sample Preparation Tools are compact instruments that can easily cut thin sections from 10 to 200 m.
These thinly sliced specimens may be viewed with a microscope.

These instruments are simple to set-up for thin section preparation for specimens such as polypropylene bottles and multi-layer paper cartons.
This product was originally designed for cutting specimens for FTIR analysis but is useful for many other applications.

The SliceMaster is available in three blade angles: vertical, angled and multi-angled.
All of the SliceMaster tools use double-edge or single edge razor blades.

HS-1 Vertical Slicer

The HS-1 Vertical Slicer can vertically cut samples such as polypropylene bottles into 100 to 500 m sections, multi-layer paper cartons from 100 to 600 m sections, and PET samples from 150 to 400 m sections. Items such as polyester or other polymers can be sliced with a variable thickness of 100 m or greater.
