The carbide tipped Micro-Tools, formerly from Minitool™, have been developed for applications where cutting needs to be done on the micro scale.
The micro-grain tungsten carbide tips are the hardest and most durable cutting tips available in the Micro-Tool line.
The carbide Micro-Tools need to be held in place precisely for cutting and are more brittle than comparable tools made from tool steel or high speed steel tools.
They are available in various configurations and shank sizes with a diameter of 0.12, 0.25, 0.50mm and 1mm.
The Micro-Tool tips are mounted in anodized tool cones. All carbide Micro-Tools fit the Micro-Tool Handle (sold separately).
